Features of Ceramic Heaters

Ceramic Heaters are one of the durable heater types that perform infrared radiation. The production of heater types, which are insulated with ceramic material and therefore named as ceramic resistance, are carried out very sensitively. Ceramic resistors are designed to be used in mass heating processes in machine parts that need to be heated. It can be manufactured with domestic or imported materials in optional sizes and powers with ceramic sheath when necessary.

Ceramic Heaters are used in many different industrial and engineering applications. Ceramic Heaters are used effectively in outdoor heating and infrared saunas such as thermoforming pans, packaging industry, paint curing and drying, printing drying, preheating. Ceramic heaters, which can spread very high heat, have a very long life because they pass high heat. These resistances provide easy heating due to their ability to spread the heat quickly and simultaneously to the whole area.

This type of resistors can be produced in various sizes for years with infrared technology. However, other less preferred dimensions are 245 by 100 mm – 100 by 100m – 122-122 mm and 60 by 60mm. Thanks to the specially prepared body pastes, 1000 watts of power can be obtained with the FFE models of ceramic flat heaters, which can be heated to 750 degrees Celsius. Ceramic type heaters, which have a flat body surface and can achieve homogeneous infrared distribution, have the durability that you can use for many years.

Ceramic resistance types, which have a very large surface, can transfer heat perfectly. At the same time, it is preferred in machine parts that need to be heated, since it can transmit mass to the surface thanks to its large surface.

This type of resistors provide heat close to solar heat. Ceramic flat heaters, which have the ability to convert the energy obtained from electricity into heat in a short time, are long-lasting resistances.

Ceramic Type Heaters are basically produced in two different ways. The most common and well-known is the semi-curved model. Another form is less preferred flat shaped and flat surface ceramic heaters.

Ceramic Heater models can be produced between 125 W and 1000 W according to their sizes. Supply voltages are commonly 230 V and 400 V.

The main usage areas of Ceramic Heaters are; cube sugar machines, plastic vacuum packaging machines, thermoforming machines, textile, printing and paint drying, auto paint drying systems, industrial ovens and IR drying panels.
