In the production of Carthridge Heaters, the basic raw material is mica plates, which have a high level of electrical insulation and heat transfer capability.

Mica Sheets are divided into two types as muscovite and phologopite resistance. Plate Type Heaters made of muscovite mica can be used in applications that generally require temperatures of 250°C -300°C, while Plate Type Heaters made of phlogopite mica boards can be used easily in applications requiring temperatures of 300°C and above.

In Plate Type Heaters, the basic principle is that the Plate Type Heater can transfer the heat generated on both surfaces very well and never accumulate the heat on it. In order to prevent this situation, a pressure sheet is generally used on one surface of the Plate Type Heating Elements.

The connections of the Plate Heaters are made with cable outlet, screw, static terminal or plug. Plate heaters up to 3.5 watts per cm² in areas such as plastic injection and mold heating are manufactured to order in desired dimensions and values. For those who want higher wattage, ceramic plate resistors are more efficient as cm² can go up to 6 watts. Optionally, the hair cover is coated.
